CRAGLIGHT

Rad Rux fastened this broad glass house beneath a ledge in the Savage Divide, where the mountains fall away beyond the windows. Dark walls keep it quiet from the trail, while the long window line brings the whole valley into the living room. He named it Craglight for the warm glow that hangs above the rocks after sundown.

Inside, polished floors connect a comfortable sitting room, dining space, work area, and rooms for his music equipment. The furniture is modern and neat, with bright rugs and lamps keeping the dark shell from feeling cold. Nearly every chair has a view worth stopping for.

Craglight gives Rad Rux the peace he needs to arrange a new record without shutting himself away from the beauty of Appalachia. When the work is done, he can set the needle down, open the curtains, and let the mountains share the room. I would keep both feet well back from the edge, but I cannot fault the view.
