The One That Got Away
GAME: FALLOUT 76
LOCATION: TOXIC VALLEY
The One That Got Away
I have heard fishermen stretch a story clear across a county, but Georges has given them something to aim for. Two great fish made of old machinery hang beside the tower, one red as a barn door and the other wearing a patchwork of weathered green. The One That Got Away seems the proper name for a catch that has taken to the hillside.
My guess is that Georges looked over a pile of discarded metal and saw something besides another shed. A curve became a cheek, a grille worked into a face, and a collection of unlikely pieces grew into this cheerful pair. I could spend an afternoon tracing how he fitted it together.
But the weirdest thing about these mysterious hanging creations is why PG built them in the first place.
PLAYER GEORGES

PLAYER GEORGES
Player Georges is one of those travelers whose kindness gets there before his history does. Folks know him for lending supplies and putting up camps in places that make a working man stop and study the supports. I have heard talk of him coming from far north, but his origin remains unclear.
What matters to me is what a fellow does with the tools and time he has been given. Georges brings imagination to his building and a helping hand to the people he meets. Whatever road brought him here, Appalachia is better for the good he leaves along it.
