Before the bombs, Aqua Falls was one of the most glamorous private homes tucked away in the Appalachian Hills—a striking modern retreat built directly into the stone around a natural waterfall. Its crisp white walls, towering windows, steel walkways, sculpted gardens, and fashionable outdoor terrace once hosted wealthy travelers looking to escape the noise of the cities. But after the Great War, the elegant estate was abandoned to the elements. Water seeped through broken walls, rust consumed the metal framework, and the carefully designed grounds disappeared beneath weeds, debris, and decades of neglect. By the time anyone found it again, Aqua Falls was little more than a beautiful ruin hidden between the cliffs.

That changed when Aqua Nova, a famous wasteland builder known throughout the Appalachian Hills, stumbled upon the property during one of her journeys. With a lifelong fondness for clean lines, unusual architecture, and modern-style homes, she could still see the estate’s potential beneath all the damage. She repaired the whitewashed residence, reinforced the old steel stairways, reopened the waterfall terrace, and filled the grounds with carefully salvaged furniture, greenery, and warm lights.
