STEALER’S COURT
High Grade Jay made this Vault Atrium into a home court for the Virginia Stealers. The court sits beneath the great glass and timber frame, with enough room for a proper game and a clear view of the shelter’s old machinery.
The team is gone now, lost on the road to the game when the bombs fell. Jay kept their name on the walls and built the place with the care of somebody preserving a good memory. The warm lights, benches, and simple clubhouse rooms give the court a steady and neighborly feel.
Stealer’s Court stands as a reminder that a team can outlast its players. The lines are still painted, the hoop is still waiting, and the old Virginia spirit has a sound place to live on.
