HOWL’S MOVING CASTLE

Rad Rux raised this wandering castle from a great stack of mismatched rooms, pipes, plates, and old machinery. It sits above the wet ground of Cranberry Bog with the uneasy balance of something that ought to be walking.

No two sides agree with each other, and that is part of its charm. Round tanks, wooden walls, iron supports, windows, and odd little attachments pile upward until the whole place becomes a storybook machine.

The castle may be still today, but I would not wager on tomorrow. Some homes are built to hold their ground, while this one looks ready to gather its feet and go looking for a better view.
