I found Rusted Ramen standing tall in Burning Springs, with a noodle bowl above the door that left no doubt about what was cooking. Rad Rux has pieced this little restaurant together from worn metal, pipes and old signs. The round tower looks rough from the road, but there is a welcoming counter tucked into its base.

A cooking robot works behind the serving window, with stools lined up close enough for a proper conversation. There is hardly a spare patch of wall. Every panel, shelf and hanging light looks as though it had a previous job before Rux brought it here.

I took a good look at the pipework and the clutter around the counter before settling on a stool. It is a small place, built with more patience than matching parts. Burning Springs has plenty that needs mending, and I was glad to find Rux making something folks could sit down and enjoy.
