The Gardens sits behind a glass front in the Cranberry Bog, with red plants standing taller than some of the visitors. Megs has fitted the greenhouse around a peaked entrance and a roof full of metal framing. From outside it looks like a small conservatory, but there is a surprising amount to see through the door.

A white metal table and chairs sit among planters, flowers and carefully arranged ornaments. Above them, a large toothed wheel hangs beneath the glass roof. There is a counter along one side and a fireplace with floral cushions tucked into another corner. The old barrels and salvaged containers have earned new work holding all that greenery.

I could tell Megs had been thinking about photographs as she arranged the room. The dark floor, bright leaves and white furniture each have their place. I enjoyed seeing a builder give this much care to living things in a region where most folks are busy watching what might come out of the grass.
