I came upon Megs’ bed and breakfast beside the lake in the Savage Divide. The glass roofs, bright doors and stone terraces make a neat arrangement along the water. She calls the spot Lake NukaMegs, and she’s certainly put enough care into it to earn the name.

Each room has its own colors and furnishings, with fireplaces and curtains giving them a proper settled feeling. Outside, lanterns hang over the planted courtyard and benches gather around a small fire. Down the steps, a couple of loungers sit close to the water.

A building like this takes more than a nice view. The walkways, room entrances and terraces all have to work together, and I imagine her father would have appreciated that part. Megs has added the photographs, colors and small comforts that make the sound construction feel like a home somebody is glad to share.
