No Left Turn Tower is the kind of job that makes me check my footing before admiring the view. Bubble has fitted glass rooms high on a monorail support in the Cranberry Bog, with metal stairs winding up toward them. The lamps hanging around the rooms make the whole construction easy to spot.

Up inside, the space is more domestic than the height might suggest. There is a kitchen corner, upholstered seating and a collection of machinery and odd displays. Bubble has worked these things between the glass frames rather than leaving the tower as an empty lookout.

He has a patient hand for fitting rooms into places that were never meant to hold them. I would not claim every fellow needs a home this far off the ground, but the construction has certainly taken thought. From the landing, a man gets a good look at just how much country is still down below him.
